EVPL, PRI, AND DARK FIBER MAINTENANCE

The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation Contracting Office, intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Charter Communications Operating, LLC under authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a) -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, for EVPL, PRI, and Dark Fiber Maintenance. This contract will consist of one 12-month base year. GLS is working with DOT OCIO’s office to determine an updated solution for future use, therefore a 12-month base year contract will be issued to ensure that in the meantime there is not a loss in services that would negatively impact GLS’ mission. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for the EVPL, PRI, and Dark Fiber Maintenance. The anticipated cost is $40,200.00. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation, Contracting Office intends to make a sole source award to Charter Communications Operating, LLC, 12405 Powerscourt Dr., Saint Louis, MO 63131.
