    Description

The Wisconsin Air National Guard requires fall protection which mounts on refueling vehicles to ensure employee safety while walking or working on top of the following refueling trucks:

    1. R-11 Refueler, 6 EACH

    2. C300 Refueler, 1 EACH

Please see attachment for more information, including required characteristics.

Update1: For line item 2001, Safety Harness, different systems may recommend or require different types of harnesses or belts, or no harness at all, so quotes should include the appropriate type as well as any additional options. Any alternative line items, such as a belt in place of a harness, are encouraged to be included with a quote if multiple items are usable.

    Update 2:

    1. The intent of this solicitation is not for the Government to help design a safety system. The contractor will supply the parts, from either an existing system or a contractor-designed system, and the Government will install the system onto each refueling vehicle.

    2. The items will be permanently installed onto each individual vehicle, allowing the safety system to travel with each vehicle, so that it may be used at any location. Neither a stationary system bolted to the ground, nor any system which cannot move with the vehicle, can be utilized.

    3. The Government owns the trucks, but does not produce them, so detailed specifications, drawings, or schematics cannot be provided. If a vendor requires measurements of the vehicles, a site visit may be offered provided that the vendor requests it no later than 20 August 2025 at 3:00 pm CDT. If a site visit is offered, the date/time will be posted to this notice. The due date for quotes will not be extended solely as a result of a site visit.

    Update 3:

A site visit is offered on 26 August 2025 at 09:00 am CDT. Those interested in attending must complete and return the SFS Form 12 no later than 24 hours prior to the site visit to be preapproved for base entry. Each attendee must possess a REAL ID for base entry.

    Update 4:

Questions and Answers document is posted, and the quote due date is extended by two days. No further questions will be accepted or answered.
