FCI JESUP - WATER MAIN TIE-INTO WATER SOFTENER

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), FCI Jesup, is a federal correctional facility located at 2600 Highway 301 South, Jesup, GA 31599. The FBOP intends to award to a responsible entity for the provision of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for tapping into the existing 12" Ductile Iron Water Main, reducing it to 6" pipe, to supply water to the new water softener system. Work includes excavating around an existing check valve vault to expose the 12-inch ductile iron water main, installing 12-inch valve onto the upstream side of the check valve, installing tie-ins for a 6-inch supply and a return on the 12-inch water main underground, penetrating through the metal building wall, and install a 6-inch line to the existing water softener system. See SOW and drawings for further details.  All work must comply with local, state, and federal regulations. This is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Evaluation factors; Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) and past performance. A Pre-Bid site visist will take place at FCI Jesup on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 9:00 am EST.
