    Description

This notice is issued solely for market research purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. No solicitation is available at this time. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is conducting market research for the requirement of bus and ground transportation services for the release of Adults in Custody (AICs) to public destinations from the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Manchester and the adjacent Federal Prison Camp (FPC), located at 805 Fox Hollow Road, Manchester, KY 40962.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 485999 – All Other Transit and Ground Passenger Transportation, with a small business size standard of $19 million. Most services will originate from FCI Manchester, transporting released AICs to locations designated by institutional staff. These destinations may include bus stations, train stations, halfway houses, or other approved public drop-off points. Transportation must be provided in a safe, reliable, and timely manner, and services may be required on weekdays, weekends, and Federal holidays, in accordance with scheduled inmate release times.

The Government is conducting market research to identify qualified and interested sources capable of fulfilling this requirement. Participation is voluntary, and the Government will not reimburse any costs incurred in responding to this announcement. All submissions will be used for planning purposes only and will not be disclosed outside the Government.

The associated Market Research Questionnaire will be made available exclusively through the System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov.
Interested parties are responsible for monitoring SAM to ensure they have access to the most current information. No telephone or written requests for the market survey will be accepted.
