FIRE FIGHTER PHYSICALS

1.    This is a combination synopsis/solicitation for Fire Fighter physicals prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  The Government intends to establish Firm Fixed Priced contract without discussion.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.  

The 187th Fighter Wing, located at the Montgomery Regional Airport, 5187 Selma Highway, Montgomery, Alabama 36108 has a requirement for the performance of annual NFPA 1582 Fire Fighter physicals.  Physicals shall be performed in Montgomery, Alabama for approximately 20 fire fighters.  Period of Performance shall be no greater the 60 days after the performance of first physical.  Start date of first physical shall be no later than 30 days after contract award.

2.    This solicitation W50S6N25QA016 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).  Quotes must be valid 60 calendar days after the close of the solicitation.

3.    Clauses/Provisions: The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-05.  All can be found in full text at www.acquisition.gov/. 
 
4.    This solicitation is 100% Small Business set-aside.  NAICS code is 621111 with a size standard of $13,000,000.00.

5.    Line-Item Structure:  CLIN0001 – NFPA 1582 Standard - Fire Fighter physical.  To include all mandatory items listed in the attached Scope of Work.

Unit of Issue:  EACH 
 
6.    Description of Requirement: See separately attached Scope of Work FF Physicals document.

7.    Delivery Date(s) and Quantities: Start date 30 days after award, Period of Performance 60 calendar days.

8.    The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies.

9.    The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Products and Commercial Services does not apply.  Evaluation will be in accordance with the procedures at FAR 12.602 and 13.106-2.  All offers will be comparatively evaluated to determine best value considering price, technical capability, and past performance.

-    Past Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures at FAR 13.106-2(b) Provide the name and contact information (email and phone number) of two (2) recent and relevant customers.

10.    The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies.  Any self-certifications not in SAM registration are required to be submitted by completing the clause information.  If your SAM registration information IS current, then the completion of this clause is not needed.
