FMS SMALL ARMS PROTECTIVE INSERTS (SAPI) INDUSTRY DAY

The Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Industry Day for the Small Arms Protective Inserts (SAPI) contract recompete will provide a forum for the members of U.S. Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) and Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) to allow industry partners an opportunity to present questions about the draft solicitation, which is attached with this posting. The Industry Day will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, 22 July 2025 at 2:00 PM EST.

The goal is to provide interested vendors an opportunity to submit questions and feedback on the draft solicitation. Please submit questions no later than 10:00 am on Friday, 18 July 2025. Interested vendors are encouraged to submit questions in advance, though questions will be permitted during the session. Attendance at the industry day is voluntary and is not required to participate in the proposed acquisition.

REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is required and will close at 2:00PM EST Friday July 18, 2025. Participation will be at no expense to the U.S. Government, and each vendor will be limited to two (2) participants. To register, send an email with “Small Arms Protective Inserts (SAPI) Industry Day” in the subject line of the e-mail to Andrea.L.Seaman.civ@army.mil and include the following information:

This notice is NOT a solicitation as defined by FAR 2.101, therefore this shall NOT be construed as a commitment by the Government to enter into a contract, nor does this restrict the Government for any future acquisition approach.

Questions from this event and the Government’s responses will be posted to SAM.gov within fifteen business days after industry day.
