Under the Authority of FAR 13.5(a) Sole Source Acquisitions, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, the Government plans to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract action to Cummins, Inc. (CAGE 04MP1), under Modification P00002 to contract W912CH-24-C-0033. Interested vendors may submit a statement of interest and description of their capabilities for consideration. ACC-DTA proposes to award a contract modification to the one-year Firm Fixed Price Level of Effort (FFP-LOE) commercial service contract to Cummins, Inc., for the on-site Cummins V903 Engine Field Service Representative (FSR) technical support for diagnoses and repair of engine issues by increasing hours and adding an additional location. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.5(a). This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. Subcontracting opportunities may exist. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
