FY 26 COLUMBUS LAUNDRY AND LINEN RECOMPETE

Solicitation HT940826RE007 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Laundry and Linen services in support of the Defense Health Agency.   This is a solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR part 12. This announcement constitutes as the only solicitation for this requirement. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

This requirement is a follow-on requirement and is 100% full and open competition.

The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 812320 Dry cleaning and Laundry Services (except Coin-Operated).

The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $8,000,000.

The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. The Government also reserves the right to award all, some, or none of the solicited items. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an Offeror for any costs.

Place of Performance: Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi

Period of Performance:

Base Period: April 01, 2026 – March 31, 2027

Option Period One: April 01, 2027 – March 31, 2028

Option Period Two: April 01, 2028 – March 31, 2029

Option Period Three: April 01, 2029 – March 31, 2030

Option Period Four: April 01, 2030 – March 31, 2031

The Government may have a future need for additional Laundry and Linen within the Bravo Area of Responsibility (AoR) which includes but is not limited to (Mississippi, Texas, and Oklahoma) to be consolidated/added to this contract as a result from this solicitation. In the event additional services are needed within the solicited AoR, same/similar scope of work, the Contracting Office will submit a written notice with specific details.

An official proposal is hereby requested. Proposals shall be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist, Khaireyal Y. Barcia (khaireyal.y.barcia.civ@health.mil) and the Contracting Officer, Meagan E. Askew (meagan.e.askew.civ@health.mil) by the time and date stated in Block 8 of the SF1449. 

All questions shall be submitted via email no later than March 12, 2026 10:00am Central Standard Time. Questions or comments received after the question deadline date and time, will be considered but may not receive a response.

The provision FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial in its latest edition applies to this solicitation.
