The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Support Marketing, Inc. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 12.102(A) soliciting from a single source. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the Durham VA Medical Center provides diagnostic and therapeutic services in medicine, surgery, rehabilitation medicine, psychiatry, and skilled nursing home care. This facility also provides homeless support services to those Veterans requiring resources to aid them in the procurement of permanent housing. The Contractor shall furnish transitional housing for the beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) and the Durham VA Medical Center (VA). The contract facility will be located within the Durham community or within a 50-mile radius of the Durham VA Medical Center and/or a 25-mile radius of the Raleigh and Clayton VA Community Based Outpatient Center (CBOCs). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet these requirements and possesses relevant past experience and expertise may give written notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement and is an approved facility. Responses will be considered by the Government, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
