The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following:

The project is located at the Bass Lake Ranger District, Sierra National Forest, California.
The Forest Service is requesting quotes for the following statement of work: 2025 GAOA Hazard Tree Removal and site preparation within campgrounds, boat launch, vistas, rest stop and trails, also includes each of their 100-foot buffer. These hazard tree removal activities will enable another contract to implement the reconstruction of the infrastructure for future public use at these sites. Work areas are located within the 2020 Creek Fire footprint and within the Green Forest environment. Conical shaped burn piles and the fire lines are permitted only within the 100-foot buffer and or designated disposal sites. Work shall begin within the 100-foot buffer to provide space to remove material from the campgrounds, boat launch, trails and vistas. Resource concerns include protection measure for Botany, Heritage, Range, Aquatic and Terrestrial Wildlife, Stream courses, Meadows, Residual green forest habitat and Soils. Limited Operational Periods and Botany protection requirements are identified. Improvements, existing infrastructure such as campsites, gates, fences, corrals, water troughs, roads and signage shall be protected by both mechanical and hand operations. Hazard trees may include insect infestation, storm damage, fire killed, lightening strikes and unsafe leaning conifers and hardwoods. Government technical monitors will be available.
Solicitation 127EAS25R0002 is designated for this effort and will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about February 14, 2025. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary to submit a proposal for this project.
A pre-bid site visit is currently planned and will be scheduled in the RFP. The solicitation will include site visit information, as necessary.
Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
