GIMC - NOTICE OF INTENT TO SINGLE-SOURCE - NIHON KOHDEN AMERICA, LLC

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC) in Gallup, New Mexico, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award Nihon Kohden America, LLC, to provide and install patient monitors and central nursing stations as required by the GIMC Emergency Department.

The period of performance will be August 1, 2025, to November 30, 2025.

Due to the highly specialized nature of the current existing hardware, software, and IT infrastructure of this procurement, this is a brand-name single-source acquisition awarded to Nihon Kohden America, LLC. Accordingly, this requirement will be awarded IAW FAR 13.501(a)(1). The award will be made to Nihon Kohden America, LLC, using the principles of FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services.

This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete with the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A solicitation will not be issued. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents concerning any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
