    Description

    This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Moody AFB is looking for a company that can conduct repair and restoration of two (2) cabins (Cabin L and Cabin M) located at Grassy Pond. The objective is to restore the cabins to their pre-damages condition, ensuring integrity, safety, and aesthetic appeal. 3.1 Standard 3-Bedroom Modular Cabin: Cabin L o Screen on 10' x 10' Porch Replacement: § Use high-quality, weather-resistant screen material. § Ensure proper tension and securely fasten to the porch structure. o Pneumatic Screen and Storm Door Closer Replacement: § Install a durable, pneumatic screen door closer to existing screen door. o Cedar Siding and Trim Repair and Replacement: § Secure loose cedar siding. § Replace any damaged or rotted sections, matching the existing style and color (Sherwin Williams Aurora Brown). o Skirting § Secure loose skirting by replacing fasteners and/or screws with similar weather-resistant materials. § Repair and/or replace damaged skirting with a matching material. § Replace damaged screens on skirting · Screen sections 19-1/4” L x 11-3/4” o Repair and Repaint Cracked Ceiling § Repair section of interior ceiling that cracked due to the pressure of the storm. § Repaint entire ceiling to match repaired section. 3.2 Standard 3-Bedroom Modular Cabin: Cabin M o Screen on 10' x 10' Porch Replacement: § Use high-quality, weather-resistant screen material. § Ensure proper tension and securely fasten to the porch structure. o Screen Door Replacement: § Install a durable, weatherproof screen door. § Replace hinges, handles, and latches. § Replace pneumatic door closer o Loose and/or Damaged Trim Board on Front Porch Ceiling: § Remove and/or resecure trim board with pressure-treated wood. § Ensure proper sealing and painting to prevent future rot. o Water Damaged Front and Rear Door Replacements: § Replace the water-damaged front and back doors with weather-resistant and secure alternatives. o Trim: § Loose crown trim at door in room with bunkbeds. § Loose crown trim over bathroom sink near kitchen. § Broken base trim at bottom right cabinet in kitchen. § Trim needs to be repaired or replaced if it is beyond repair. o Cabin Leveling: § Cabin needs to be re-leveled with the proper equipment and tools (e.g. hydraulic jack, concrete blocks, wooden blocks, etc.) § Needs to be resecured to hurricane straps once re-leveled. o Soffit Metal: § Repair and/or replace damaged soffit metal around roof o Caulking § Re-caulk ceiling line above refrigerator. o Sheetrock Repair § Cracked sheetrock needs to be repaired at the following locations: · Above Rear/Back Door · Over Front Door · Above Window in the Main Bathroom · Above Window in the Living Room (where couch is located) o Cedar Siding and Trim Replacement: § Secure loose cedar on the siding, trim, and in the ceiling. § Replace any damaged or rotted sections of siding and trim § Siding color is Sherwin Williams Aurora Brown o Skirting § Secure loose skirting by replacing fasteners and/or screws with similar weather-resistant materials. § Replace damaged skirting with a matching vinyl stone material. 3.3 Equipment Requirements § All Equipment Required to Complete these Cabin Projects in Their Entirety Shall Be Supplied by the Contractor. § Proper equipment (including PPE) needed to re-level Cabin M shall be provided by the Contractor. § Contractor will be required to provide their own dumpsters for proper disposal of material and their own portable restroom. Standard 1-Year Contractor Warranty. A site visit will be conducted on Wednesday, May 7th, @1000 at Grassy Pond (5360 Grassy Pond Rd, Lake Park, GA 31636). Following, questions will be due Friday, May 9th, @1000. Refer to Statement of Work (SOW) for any additional details. This is a commercial product and will be performed IAW FAR pt. 12, commercial items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: item technical capability, lowest price technically acceptable, and past performance. Offerors MUST include an action plan with their proposal, detailing the work to be done and how it will be accomplished.
