    GDS BM Description:  The Guam Defense System Battle Manager (GDS BM) is a critical component of the GDS, serving as a joint Command and Control (C2) layer that integrates from existing Department of War (DoW) C2 systems to provide a common operating picture (COP)/common tactical picture (CTP) and fire direction to defend against both ballistic and non-ballistic threats.

    Portfolio Acquisition Executive Fires (PAE Fires) will host a Guam Defense System (GDS) Battle Manager Industry Day Event on May 8, 2026, at the Bob Jones Auditorium on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.

    The purpose of the Industry Day is to provide an overview of the Guam Defense System Battle Manager requirement. All costs associated with attending the Industry Day will be solely at the respondent/attendee’s expense. Participation in the GDS Battle Manager Request for White Paper (RFWP) or any other future PAE Fires transaction or procurement opportunity is not contingent upon attending this Industry Day.

    Target Audience: Prime Contractor, Subcontractor or Joint Venture Offerors with the technical capabilities, facilities, and personnel to develop and deliver the GDS Battle Manager that are interested in submitting a White Paper.

    Registration Details:

    In order to attend the Industry Day Event, interested participants must provide their name, email address, company name and CAGE Code via email to Barbara Cantrell (barbara.a.cantrell2.civ@army.mil) and Andrea Russell (andrea.a.russell5.ctr@army.mil) no later than 1700 CST, 29 April 2026. The email subject line shall state “RSVP GDS Battle Manager Industry Day Event”.

    An email confirmation will be sent by the PAE Fires Acquisition Team verifying successful receipt of registration along with a detailed Industry Day schedule, maps, and directions.

    Please advise anyone who does not have a CAC that they will need to pre-register with the Visitor Center for base access at https://pass.aie.army.mil/?b=usa&i=redstone&e=TXBVRLKL. Individuals will receive a text message confirming successful registration. They can use their Driver’s License to pass through the gate. A gate pass will not be needed unless registration is not successful.

    Visitors can obtain a Visitor’s Day Pass on the day of the visit. You must bring your driver’s license or passport to the Visitor Center at Gate 9.

    Visitor Control Center located enroute to Gate 9, Open 7 a.m.to 3 p.m., Monday –

    Friday (closed on federal holidays)

    Each person attending industry day must provide a CAC, Driver's License or Passport to attend the meeting. Visitors are reminded that all bags and packages brought into the facilities are subject to inspection at all times by access control personnel. Attendees must arrive at the Bob Jones Auditorium Entrance to Building 5304 in the Sparkman Complex. PAE Fires will NOT send personnel to other Sparkman Complex entrances to retrieve Contractor personnel for this event. Attendees should arrive at the Industry Day entrance between 0800 and 0900 on the day of the event to ensure time for check-in prior to entering the facility.

    Please allow time to account for any and all delays to include heavy gate traffic.
