This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1240BD26Q0005 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the removal of two hazard trees that have fallen into Forest Service Property (a Building). The removal will involve removing parts of the trees that are resting against Forest Service buildings and disposing those parts outside Forest Service compound in a lawful manner. The remaining parts of the trees on the private property side of the fence will not be the contractors responsible for disposing. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 115310. The small business size standard is $11.5 Million. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. No Pre Bid Meeting will be held. Project Bidders are advised to visit the project site prior to bidding to be familiar with the projects road system and the access to site. The second attachment is pictures of the trees. Vendors are advised that the home owners where the trees fell from have not being contacted by the Forest Service and are unaware of the Forest Service intentions to have a contractor remove the fallen trees. Please ask permision before entering their property.
