Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (hereinafter called “LLNS”) is seeking sources for the performance of hazardous waste management disposal services for “Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.” The services will entail equipment rentals and arranging for off-site treatment and disposal of LLNL’s waste. Additionally, the disposal services will include arranging for off-site transportation of the waste shipments to the LLNS approved treatment, storage and disposal facilities. LLNL’s waste consists of medical, universal, hazardous, and non-hazardous waste. All services shall be performed in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and Local regulations, Department of Energy (“DOE”) orders and LLNS’ policies and procedures. Only contractors that have considerable experience in environmental compliance with a strong corporate quality assurance program, a record of passing regulatory agency inspections, the ability to meet Resource Conservation and Recovery Act requirements and the Universal Treatment Standards for the identified waste streams will be considered.
