    Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Sierra Leone will launch the solicitation on the https://sam.gov/ website when it is available.


    The requirement is for the provision of medical insurance services to the locally hired employees of the US Mission Sierra Leone. The estimated number of employees is approximately 209 with approximately 591 eligible dependents.


    Please note these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year option periods at the option of the Government. All responsible offerors may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The Government plans to issue the solicitation in March 2026.


    Anticipated Closing Date: April 27, 2026


    Note: The response date in this synopsis is not a firm date. Please see the RFP for the actual date.


    The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible service provider. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract type. All financial proposals should be in Sierra Leone Leones.
