The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division(NSWCPD) has a requirement, to be awarded on a competitive basis, to perform various engineering services to include on-site repairs of submarine propellers and propulsors at shipyards CONUS and OCONUS in accordance with Section 2.0 Applicable Documents. The contractor shall provide all necessary tooling, including welding equipment, grinders, inspection and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) tools, equipment, and personnel for the inspection and repair of the propeller. Electrical power at 110 & 220 V, compressed air at 160 CFM correlating to 90 to 120 PSI at the pneumatic tool fitting, and lighting will be provided by the Government facility. The official Request for Proposal (RFP) will be published on the System for Award Management (SAM.GOV) website at http://www.SAM.gov. Written proposals will be requested. Interested offerors should monitor SAM.GOV for the release of the RFP. The RFP is anticipated for release in June of Fiscal Year (FY) 2025, with award anticipated in January of FY 2026. Award is anticipated of a Firm-Fixed-Price, contract with estimated period of performance to be a five-year base period. This effort is being competed on an unrestricted basis and is not a small business set-aside. This contract will be competitively awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 and the Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.401 (b). The Product Service Code (PSC) for this effort is J030.
