    Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for VERTICAL TRANSPORTATION EQUIPMENT (VTE) MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES with recurring and non-recurring services at the Naval Support Activity, Crane, Indiana is for all work associated with VTE maintenance and repair services; maintenance, repair, alteration, and minor construction for Vertical Transport Equipment (VTE). The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, supervision, quality control, and management necessary to perform maintenance, repair, alteration, demolition and minor construction, inspection, testing, and component replacement of VTE per the manufacturers original specifications and the requirements of ASME-A17.1 - Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators. VTEs covered in this contract include elevators, vertical wheelchair lifts, material lifts, and dumbwaiters. Recurring services provide direct support to the Government Inspector in the performance of Safety Code Certification Inspection and Testing, including monthly maintenance, Periodic (6 month), Category 1 (Annual), and Category 5 (Five Year) Inspections and Tests for all VTE. Non-recurring work includes labor and materials for repair, alteration, and minor construction for Vertical Transport Equipment (VTE). There are approximately 20 elevators and 8 lifts on base requiring the recurring services. The term of the contract will be a base period of 12 months plus four (4) 12-month option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The term of the contract shall not exceed 60 months or the total value of the contract, whichever comes first.
