    The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service, Aberdeen, South Dakota intends to award a firm fixed price contract for fire alarm inspections and testing at multiple IHS locations in the area of responsibility: North and South Dakota to PYE-BARKER FIRE AND SAFETY, LLC 3601 N. POTSDAM AVENUE, SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA 57104. The contracting officer signed the Justification for other than full and open competition on May 6, 2025 under FAR part 6.302, unusual and compelling urgency. 

    This posting is solely intended as a notice and not intended as a request for proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to the attention of: Erin Doering. Email: Erin.Doering@ihs.gov. Only emailed responses will be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition would be advantageous to the Government.

    Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Last day to provide affirmative written response is May 29th, 2025 at 05:00pm CDT.

    A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Any solicitation resulting from the analysis of information obtained will be announced to the public in Federal Business Opportunities in accordance with the FAR Part 5. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
