INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - AMERICAN NATIONAL STANDARDS INSTITUTE (ANSI) COLLECTIONS

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to procure online access to American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Collections on a single source basis in accordance with the statutory of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold and only one source reaonably available.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island Distrct, intends to enter into a firm fixed price contract with American Societ of Civil Engineers, Reston, Virginia, 20191.  The NAICS code for this procurement is 513120 with a size standard not to exceed 1,000 employees.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any small-business firm that beleives it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer.  Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed to the point of contact below by 2 September 2025 at 12:00pm CT.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
