The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price Purchase Order for the upgrade of the access-control system at the ATF National Academy from UTC Facility Commander hardware to Lenel OnGuard Hardware in order to facilitate FIPS 201-2 compliance. This acquisition is for a commercial item or service and is conducted under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13—Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12—Acquisition of Commercial Items. It is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The notice of award and the written sole source justification will be posted after award.
