INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - CAREFUSION FOR PYXIS RENTAL WITH FULL SUPPORT

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Crownpoint Healthcare Facility in Crownpoint, New Mexico, intends to negotiate a sole source, firm-fixed-price award to CareFusion Solutions, 3750 Torrey View CT, San Diego, California 92130-2622 for Pyxis Rental with full support. This is a drug automated distribution system that controls the availability, access distribution and patient safety. 

The Period of Performance will be Date of Award to March 31, 2025.

The award will be a sole source procurement awarded to CareFusion Solutions. in accordance with FAR 13.106- 1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available based on exclusive licensing agreement. 

This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any potential sources other than CareFusion Solutions, LLC may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Janice Martinez, Supervisory Contract Specialist, at Janice.Martinez@ihs.gov by 10:00 AM MT on Wednesday, July 24th,  2024.

Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.   Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
