The Bureau of the Fiscal Service (Fiscal Service), on behalf of the Fiscal Service Office of Information and Security Services (ISS), intends to award on a sole source basis to the City of Hyattsville for Police Patrol. No alternative source/competitive vendor or regulatory agency has been identified as a provider of this service. The proposed Contractor is within the vicinity in which the services are needed, and the Contractor has sufficient manpower of trained city police officers with equipment specifically required for this procurement. Thereby the proposed source has the sole unique capable services required for this acquisition. The Office of Information and Security Services (ISS) requires local police patrol services, which will consist of four (4) hours of security for five (5) days a week at the United States Department of Treasury building located at 6505 Belcrest Road, Hyattsville, Maryland 20782. All police officers assigned must be protected by the City of Hyattsville medical, liability, retirement, and related benefits. No other source is authorized to provide police officers within the City of Hyattsville for patrol of the United States Department of Treasury building. In addition, only the local police department have the specific manpower with authority to provide patrols to remove the threat of injustice and crime. The Period of Performance for the purchase order is anticipated to be one 12-month base year. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information, or a copy of the solicitation, will not be considered an affirmative response to this Special Notice. Telephone responses or inquiries to this Special Notice will not be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Fiscal Service will consider responses received no later than 09/27/2024. Responses shall be submitted electronically to purchasing@fiscal.treasury.gov, SS-FSA-25-005 /Attn: CC DV. Responses must include sufficient evidence that clearly shows your company is capable of providing the requirement described in this notice. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no written response is received by the aforementioned deadline that clearly demonstrates an ability to meet all requirements, and that is more advantageous to the Government, Fiscal Service will make award on a sole source basis toThe City of Hyattsville.
