INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, LOGICAL FOLLOW-ON FOR THE TRANSITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

The U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to make an award, on a sole source basis, to Calibre Systems, Inc., 6361 Walker Ln Ste 1100, Alexendria, VA 22310, in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C), in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under a contract, provided that all awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order.

The VA requires continuation of services in support of the Transition Assistance Program as a temporary measure while the VA is in the process of a competitive re-solicitation of the requirement.

The total period of performance, including options, is from 18 May 2026 to 17 May 2028. The base period of performance is from 18 May 2026 to 17 November 2026.
