INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: ON-SITE NFPA 1851 COMPLIANT ANNUAL ADVANCED CLEANING AND INSPECTION OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

Special Notice of Intent to Sole Source:

The MCIEast Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533, hereby gives notice of their intent to award a contract to HC Risk Reduction Inc. (dba  RedLine First Responder Gear Cleaning) (CAGE 8MJ03) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements.

This procurement is for on-site NFPA 1851 compliant Annual Advanced Cleaning and Inspection of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Market research has revealed HC Risk Reduction Inc. (dba  RedLine First Responder Gear Cleaning) is the only vendor with the capability and proven capacity for rapid, same-day turnaround with their patented mobile gear cleaning program. Therefore, the government intends to procure these services on a sole source basis to HC Risk Reduction Inc. (dba  RedLine First Responder Gear Cleaning).

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this notice will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
