INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM (IDS) MONITORING SERVICES

Army Contract Command - Redstone Arsenal, Technology Development Directorate – Aviation, located in Fort Eustis, Virginia, intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order on a sole source basis to Johnson Controls Security Solutions, LLC, located at 3601 Eisenhower Avenue, STE 300, Alexandria, VA 22304, for the procurement of support services for the current Intrusion Detection System.  The period of performance of the purchase order will be 1 base year and four (4), twelve-(12)month option years. The anticipated award date is 15 August 2025.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.  All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1) Soliciting from a Single Source. A justification to not compete this acquisition has been properly executed and is included with this notice. The justification addresses the requirements of FAR 5.207(c)(15), reason for lack of competition.

The NAICS Code for this requirement is 561621, Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths), and the associated size standard is $25,000,000.00. The PSC is L063, Technical Representative- Alarm, Signal, and Security Detection Systems.
