    Description

    This requirement is for the preventive maintenance (PM), hot and cold inspections, temperature uniformity surveys, system accuracy test (i.e. instrument/thermocouple combination), calibration documentation, technical support and emergency repair for the Government Owned Furnace systems (2). The furnace systems consists of the two vacuum furnaces and includes all of the components required to make the furnaces function properly. (These components include but are not limited to instrumentation, programmable logic controller (PLC), programming, power supplies, chillers, and vacuum pumps etc. that make up the furnace system.) On call emergency services shall be effective upon contract award. Hot and cold inspections and uniformity surveys will be performed in mid-summer and mid-winter of each year. This equipment is located in building 128 at Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, Al. 36201-4119. See Attachments - Ipsen Furnace SOW and 25-S-0021 Sources sought. All sources sought responses must be submitted through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module. Responses sent by email will not be accepted.
