NOTICE: This is not a solicitation.

The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is to conduct market research to determine responsible sources capable of providing IUID Hardware Support Services.

A previous requirement, FA813221P0018, for similar services was awarded as a Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 541519 and PSC R425.

SCOPE:

The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, quality control, transportation, and inspection manuals necessary to provide hardware support services for IUID part-marking, and other part-marking activities, at the Air Logistics Centers (ALCs) located at Tinker Air Force Base (AFB), Hill AFB, and Robins AFB; depot maintenance at Vandenberg AFB; and the 309th EMXG at Kadena AFB.

DESCRIPTION of SERVICES:

IUID Hardware Support Services shall include:

1. On-Site Part-Marking Support
2. Hardware and Software Inventory and Configuration
3. Hardware Maintenance and Trouble Shooting
4. Network Administration Privileges Support
5. Status Meetings
6. OEM Hardware Maintenance: Teardown, Evaluation, and Shipping
7. Software Maintenance and Updates
8. Equipment and Process Training
9. Reports, Metrics, and Data Deliverables

INSTRUCTION:

1. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice, if applicable, and identify your capability of providing for this requirement. Please also provide the following information:

3. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requested.

4. The Government will use the information obtained via this SSS to determine the best acquisition strategy for the procurement of IUID Hardware Support Services.
