    The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8), Tampa, FL, issued award no. 36C24825P2056, Delgado Electric, Inc., for in support of James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH) at 13,000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa Bay, Florida 33612. This procurement is a sole source for an urgent and compelling need. The scope of this emergency procurement is to provide emergency Circuit Tracing Services located at Bldg. 100 (New Bed Tower). The Contractor shall provide personnel, supervision, furnish all labor, transportation, materials, tools, and services necessary to conduct Circuit Tracing Services in Building 100. The contractor shall perform circuit tracing to all electrical components (Electrical panels, conduits, receptacles, switches, and transformers). Contractor shall install new panel schedules and relabel each Electrical panel, conduits, receptacles, switches, transformers and disconnects. All labeling nomenclatures will be determined by VA specifications and the Maintenance and Operations Team (Electrical Unit). Currently, there are several mis-labeled circuits panels, conduits and breakers throughout Building 100. Additionally, it was discovered that other rooms/section of the building were being shut down not according to what the existing circuit label states identified on the boards/panels when the building activation was turned over to the Department of Veterans Affairs. This unidentified safety issue occurred on one of the current inpatient care floors that service the Bio Medical system Telemetry System and is a major safety violation/concern with the remaining inpatient floors throughout the entire building. These current conditions not only present a severe threat to our current inpatient s life at high risk level but also bring impairment of healthcare delivery capabilities and/or mission performance with our clinical staff. The period of performance (POP) will be for 12 months beginning on 8/29/2025 through 8/28/2026. The type of contract is a Firm-Fixed Price. This Justification for award is posted in accordance with FAR 6.305 to the Business Opportunities website (https://www.sam.gov) on September 21, 2025. The NAICS Code is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, small business size standard $19 Million. The Contract award has determined to be fair and reasonable price. Interested sources for future opportunities may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency as Market Research. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of quotes. No specific response to this justification and advisory (J&A) notice is required at this time.
