    NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole-Source contract to Surgical Science / Simbionix USA Corp / Mimic Technologies, Inc. The Richmond Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) has a request for Surgical Science / Simbionix USA Corp / Mimic Technologies, for Software Update and Annual Services. The justification for this non-competitive solicitation is due to Surgical Science / Simbionix USA Corp / Mimic Technologies, Inc, being the sole supplier of requested service to the VA Hospital and Health Care Center. The NAICS code for this procurement is 611710 Educational Support Services with $24.0 million. The Sole source service is: Endo suite S/N ES 058-01-22 and Ultrasound mentor S/N US 037-02-18. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, and no Solicitation will be issued. Market research has determined that this product is highly specialized and only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of supply will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award the contract with an effective date on or about February 17, 2026, to Surgical Science / Simbionix USA Corp / Mimic Technologies, Inc, | 811 1ST Ave | Seattle, WA | 98104|. However, interested parties may identify their skill and ability by sending capability statements about this requirement to the Contracting Specialist within three (3) calendar days (February 13, 2026) of this publication by contacting Cedric Frasier via e-mail cedric.frasier@va.gov.
