    PRE-SOLICITATION DISCLAIMER: This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice (Synopsis) only. This notice is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Performance Work Statement (PWS) and corresponding Attachments and Appendices will be included in the publicized solicitation. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a need for Commercial Services contract for vegetation removal for the Johnstown Local Flood Protection Project located in Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania. The project is situated along the Stonycreek, Little Conemaugh, and Conemaugh Rivers totaling 9.2 miles in length. The project includes mostly concrete channel levees, ramps and foot access stairs along the slopes of and shoals along the riverbanks. The project is composed of six (6) areas, with the intent is to remove brush, trees, and debris to maintain levees and shoals free of detritus that could otherwise eventually impeded the rivers free flow. The NAICS Code is 561730, Landscaping Services, and the Small Business Size Standard is $9,500,000.00. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. Any resultant award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite-Delivery (IDC) Requirements Contract with a five (5) year Ordering Period. All responsible quoters are encouraged to submit a quote. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on, or about, 18 June 2025 via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), which posts the opportunity to SAM.gov. In order to submit a quote for this project, your company must: 1) Be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and maintain an active registration status. 2) be registered in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) for the Solicitation Module with the PROPOSAL MANAGER Role.
