The project includes the re-placement/upgrade of the fire alarm and suppression system and plumbing systems; and the repair/replacement of the electrical power and distribution system (to be phased prior to start of the rest of the project), the repair/replacement of the lighting and grounding systems throughout the entire facility; and the replacement/upgrade of the telecommunications systems. Other items to be repaired include CMU walls, degradation of structural members, repair to walkways/overhangs and railing, stair tower (finishes), sidewalks, exterior lighting, landscaping, and force protection in Facility 130 at Joint Base Langley - Eustis (JBLE) - Langley, VA, as shown on the drawings. The Magnitude of Construction Project: Estimated more than $10,000,000.00 (See Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204(h)). Foreign participation will not be authorized for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
