K--THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND NOT A COMPETITIV

The National Park Service, Intermountain Region, Northern Rockies Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Sole Source award to Repair/Refurbish Bison Radio Collars for the Yellowstone Center for Resources Site in Yellowstone NP, WY.

The National Park Service intends to procure the service to repair/refurbish radio collars, Model Number TGW-4577 which is used to track movements of mule, deer and bighorn sheep and from one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures and will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334220 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,250 employees. This is a Sole Source Notice and not a request for quotations. No solicitation document is available with this notice. Any firm that believes it has the capabilities to provide maintenance and support of this repair ad refurbish service may contact the Contract Specialist, Barbara Glen at barbara_glen@nps.gov, 303-345-1131 for more information regarding the requirement or specifications. A determination not to compete this proposed order based on responses to this notice will be made at the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered for support of the Government's determination to support of a non-competitive strategy.
