This pre-solicitation notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.201. This is NOT a request for proposal. 411th Contracting Support Brigade intends to solicit and award a contract to provide Shoes and socks for Korean Augmentation to the United States Army (KATUSA). KATUSA Soldiers are issued athletic shoes and socks as part of their initial issue and then semi-annually in summer and winter of each year. Subject items are required to improve the morale and welfare of KATUSA Soldiers and to support KATUSA physical training. This procurement requirement cannot be foregone, as physical training for KATUSA Soldiers is mandatory. Any information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for enhancing competition and for market research purposes. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All interested and capable sources may submit a one-page capability statement (or statement of interest). All responses must be received no later than 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time 29 July, 2024, and should be submitted to SSG Tao, Junyu, Contract Specialist, via email at Junyu.tao.mil@army.mil or to Mr. Michael L.
