10. Description: The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone, Operations, Services, & Training Division, plans to obtain information to serve as market research to help identify potential sources that can specialized, professional audit and accreditation-related services required for the renewal accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 quality standards for USATA TMDE Support Centers (TSC) located at Applied Physical Standards Laboratory(APLS). Location is Building 5435, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The tasks for Applied Physical Standards Laboratory (APSL) shall include the following:

Renewal Assessments and Annual Reviews. This assessment will include a review and updating of existing Scope of Accreditation for the US Army TMDE Support Center at Redstone Arsenal, AL with issuance, renewal of the existing APSL accreditation to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 international quality standard for metrology and calibration laboratories. This requirement includes an annual review for the year 2026. The period of performance (certification) shall cover, from date of contract award, three full calendar years ending on the anniversary date (from award) in 2026.

As part of the certification process, APSL shall provide the Contractor with documentation, as appropriate for the task, evidence that laboratories and laboratory personnel meet ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certification standards. The Contractor shall be tasked to review, evaluate and audit the government’s documentation. The Contractor shall apply the documentation to APSL’s Scope of Accreditation for the period of accreditation as described above. Processes shall be in accordance with established Contractor Renewal Assessment and Annual Review requirements and policies.
