    Description

    Level II - Armed Security Guard Service for both temporary and fixed facilities in support of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) disaster response and recovery operations in the State of Florida. These services include but may not be limited to providing armed security protective services for the following temporary and fixed facilities: Joint Field Office (JFO), staging yards, and branch offices.

    This effort is being solicited as a Small Business set-aside, with preference given to local firms within the declared counties of Florida in accordance with the Robert T. Stafford and Local Community Recovery Act of 2006 under NAICS code 561612 – Security Guards and Patrol Services. The Small Business Size Standard is $29M. Per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 26.202, Local Area Preference, preference shall be given, to the extent feasible and practicable, to local firms. This effort will consider small business offerors, with preference given to those businesses residing or primarily doing business in areas affected by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton as declared by Presidential Disaster Declarations DR-4828 and DR-4834 in the State of Florida. (see Attachments 5 - Disaster Declaration Maps).

    Please be advised, funds are not presently available. The Government’s obligation under this request is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this award and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
