LIMITED SOURCES JUSTIFICATION - BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENT (BPA) 9531BM25A0015 – “VEHICLE RECORDER DIVISION (RE-40) LABORATORY SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE AND ENHANCEMENTS

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has a requirement for Vehicle Recorder Division (RE-40) Laboratory Software Maintenance and Enhancements.

The purpose of the posted Limited Source Justification (LSJ) is to provide documentation that explains why this specific requirement was awarded without competition to General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) and thereby be considered "only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized" for maintenance and enhancements to its Vehicle Recorder Division Laboratory software in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B).

The Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), 9531BM25A0015, was awarded under GDIT's General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract GS-35F-393CA. In accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(2)(i), within 14 days of establishing the BPA, a notice of this contract action and LSJ is posted on the Government-wide Point of Entry Contracting Opportunities website (www.sam.gov) and the NTSB website for 30 days.
