LIMITED SOURCES JUSTIFICATION FOR HAYWORTH FURNITURE IN THE BALTIMORE/WASHINGTON AREA

Noncompetitive GSA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Price Modern to procure, install and service Hayworth systems office furniture at the NRC HQ location in Rockville, MD. The NRC requires Haworth brand systems furniture (cubicles: connected walls, desks & cabinets) which is the only brand system furniture NRC has installed throughout NRC HQ. NRC also has an inventory of Hayworth systems furniture in order to quickly make office & workstation cubicle changes and adjustments throughout HQ. Other system furniture brands would not match nor be interchangeable with the Haworth furniture installed throughout NRC. Only authorized distributors of Haworth systems furniture are trained and authorized by Haworth to provide the related services to include design, delivery, reconfiguration, and installation. Market research revealed that Price Modern is the sole authorized dealer for the sale, distribution, installation and servicing of Haworth systems furniture
in the Baltimore/Washington.
