LIQUID NITROGEN DELIVERY SYSTEM REPAIRS, WYNDMOOR, PA

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service in Eastern Regional Research Center, Wyndmoor, PA requires repairs to an existing liquid nitrogen filling system.  

In accordance with the procedures in FAR Part 5 and 12, this Request for Quote (RFQ), number 1232SA25Q0830, is available through electronic commerce via the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. This RFQ is being issued under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561210 Facilities Support Services. The applicable small business size standard is $47M.

The resulting purchase order will be a firm-fixed price type with a performance period of no later than sixty (60) calendar days after contract award. All deliveries shall be made FOB Destination to the location specified in the contract.

The resulting award will include one (1) line item as listed below:

Line Item 0001 – Repairs to ERRC Liquid Nitrogen filling system replacing compromised insulation in accordance with the Statement of Work. Quantity: 1 EA

This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-05 August 7, 2025 (Attachment 1).

Vendors are required to be active and registered in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov when submitting a quote and at time of award (FAR 52.204-7(b)(1).

Site visits are scheduled for Monday 15 SEP 1100-1300 Eastern Time.  All requests for attendance shall be coordinated via email to timothy.toal@usda.gov. All attendees shall sign in at the front security desk and provide valid ID.
