1. What is quantity in square footage for insuation foam for each building? We did not specify but pease refer to performance work statement. 

2. Is the government looking for the spray foam insulation to be covered or exposed? We did not specify covered, so it can be exposed.

LPT Cable Building Spray Insulation Description: This Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Chicago District to inform interested vendors of the district’s intent to issue a solicitation for LPT Cable Building Spray Insulation.****PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the requirement, USACE requires the following construction services at the Lockport Lock: This is a non-personal services contract to spray four (4) cable buildings walls and ceilings with closed cell insulation. The four (4) buildings are located on the upper end of the lock at around the 600’ mark, with two (2) of the buildings on the land wall side and the other two (2) on the river wall side. The two (2) on the land wall side are the upper left service gate (ULSG) and upper left emergency gate (ULEG). The two (2) buildings on the river wall side are the upper right service gate (URSG) and the upper right emergency gate (UREG). Detailed descriptions for the buildings can be found in section five (5). The contractor shall adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations.****CONTRACTING OFFICE: USACE Chicago District, 231 South LaSalle Street, Suite 1500, Chicago IL 60604****ACQUISITION INFORMATION: Competition for this acquisition is planned to be a small business set-aside. The North American Industry System Classification Code is 238310., with a small business size standard in dollars of $19.0 Million. The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000.
