The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice / RFI is to gain information about potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 541330. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI, further RFIs and/or a solicitation or other announcements may be published. Department of the Air Force, B-52 System Program Office is seeking engineering support for Low Level Continuous Wave Electromagnetic Pulse Test activities. The contractor will provide Check-Out of Antenna System/Acquisition System/Air Conditioning Unit; Supervision, and associated items and services necessary to perform the Operational Testing, Equipment repair, Test Preparation, Test Execution and Preventive Maintenance (PM) for the aircraft LLCW EMP Testing Effort at Tinker AFB, OK. The LLCW and EMP Test effort requirements are defined in MIL-STD-2169 and IAW MIL-STD-3023. These performance requirements are for a military platform and are unique to the military weapon systems only. Providing Research & Development of Engineering Services with Military and Aerospace Equipment. Any contractor responsible for software and hardware development and integration would require at a minimum - seven years experience in the Electro Magnetic Conductivity (EMC), Electro Magnetic Effects (EME), Electro Magnetic Induction (EMI), and Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) skill set to analyze data to precise threat levels, possess Data Acquisition experience, be knowledgeable & experienced with Test & Evaluation, Software Engineering and capabilities in Systems/Design/Aerospace Engineering. Aircraft Testing includes at a minimum - seven years experience in Setup, Pre-Test Field Mapping, Instrumentation of the Aircraft, Test Conduct, Post-Test Field Map and Activities, De-Instrumenting the Aircraft and Repairing equipment that was damaged during the testing. A summary of your companys skill set in Electromagnetic Conductivity, Electromagnetic Effects, Electromagnetic Induction, Electromagnetic Pulse 8. Is the NAICS Code appropriate for the item being requested? Statements of your firms expertise should include reference to relevant contracts performed. (Including a description of the scope, quantity manufactured, contract number, and point of contact with phone number). All interested firms and manufacturers, regardless of size, may respond to this request for information. Information submission can include produce literature and illustrations, relevant company background/experience.
