MAINTENANCE AND SOFTWARE UPDATES FOR SP200 ROBOT AND LEASE OF PERIPHERY EQUIPMENT FOR SP200 ROBOT

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Bemidji Area intents to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract on a sole source basis to ScriptPro,at the Cass Lake IHS Hospital in Cass Lake, MN. The anticipated period of performance will be for a base plus 2 option years.

The sole source action will be issued under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The continued maintenance and software updates as well as the lease of the associated periphery equipment to the SP200 robot, that Cass Lake IHS bought years ago, can only be accomplished by Scriptpro due to controls of copyrights, patent rights, trade secrets, technical data, secret process, and other proprietary data which are essential to the performance of the contract requirements. Only ScriptPro has the equipment and sources that are capable of adequately meeting the technical requirements of the software system. Using another vendor will void all warranties.
