MAINTENANCE SHOP TOWEL LAUNDRY SERVICE

1.1         The Michigan National Guard is identifying potential businesses who can meet the requirements in the PWS for towel laundering service.  The contractor shall

1.1.1    have an established route, equipment and logistic experience

1.1.2    deliver, pick up and transport items using conventional methods and comply with all local, state and federal sanitation and HAZMAT regulations

1.1.3    travel to 11 maintenance shops throughout Michigan twice a month

1.1.4    launder soiled maintenance shop rags/towels to remove dirt, grease, other petroleum, oil and lubricant products so they can be cleaned and in reusable condition

1.2       NAICS:  812332 Industrial Launderers.

1.3       PSC:  S209 Housekeeping – Laundry/Drycleaning

1.4       It is anticipated to award a firm fixed price contract

1.4.1    Period of performance:    1 June 2026 – 31 May 2031

1.4.2    base and option periods are 12 months each
