    Description

NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL RESPONSES MUST BE RECEIVED BY EMAIL.

This announcement serves as a market survey for support services of the FAA Warehouse Management System (WMS) known as Robocom’s Inventory Management System (RIMS). This announcement also serves as the FAA’s notice of intent to pursue single source acquisition procedures with the only known available source for these items if no responses are received, or if other sources cannot be determined fully capable of providing support services for RIMS as stated in the Statement of Work.

At this time, Robocom US, LLC (SAM UEI: F4FMNZLCMHE7) is believed by the FAA to be the only available source that can provide the software maintenance, modifications, and consulting requirements to maintain the RIMS software application.

Although no other sources are currently known by the FAA to exist, please provide a response to the announcement if your company is in fact fully capable and interested in providing the required service in the statement of work.

If no responses are received, or if a competitive environment among fully capable manufacturers cannot be confirmed to exist as a result of this announcement, the FAA intends to pursue a single source award with the aforementioned only known source using agency single source procurement procedures.

This announcement is being posted for market research purposes and in compliance with Acquisition Management Systems (AMS) 3.2.2.5.1(c) to determine if no other available sources can be confirmed to exist. The AMS is the FAA’s agency-wide governing acquisition authority in place of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). You can learn more about the FAA’s acquisition process at the following link:
