MCCONNELL AFB CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY DAY

The McConnell AFB Construction Industry Day is scheduled for August 14, 2025, at the Robert J. Dole Community Center at McConnell AFB.  This is a crucial event for contractors interested in competing for future construction opportunities.

The construction-focused Industry Day will provide detailed information regarding MAFB construction requirements and solicitation efforts underway.  We will delve into the specific needs and expectations for MAFB contractors, ensuring potential bidders have a clear understanding of what will be required.  In addition, there will be discussion about our upcoming 2026 Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC).  We will also offer insights into potential future construction projects and the diverse types of work anticipated at McConnell AFB in the coming years.

The agenda includes informative briefings from various organizations.  These sessions will cover critical topics such as compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, base badging procedures for personnel access, stringent cybersecurity requirements, and overviews of various McConnell AFB organizations and their operational needs.  This will provide a holistic view of the construction environment at McConnell AFB.

The afternoon session offers a valuable opportunity for contractors to directly engage with McConnell AFB personnel.  Prime General Contractors will have the opportunity to deliver a 15-minute capability briefing highlighting their company's expertise and relevant experience.  A tour of McConnell AFB and its facilities will be conducted, providing several opportunities for contractors to get a firsthand look at the base's infrastructure and potential project locations.  For those who will be giving a capability briefing, please provide any material that will be used during your presentation along with your registration to the MAFB team by August 5th, to include providing five physical copies for the day of the event.

To ensure adequate space and participation, a maximum of three representatives per company are permitted to attend.  Subcontractors of all trades are encouraged to attend the MAFB Construction Industry Day, to include Architect and Engineering firms.  Please complete and provide the Registration & Access Request form for company personnel to be vetted and added to the base entry listing, this form will be utilized as the company’s form RSVP to this event.  To schedule your company’s capability briefing, please utilize the provided Sign-Up Genius link.  Once again, only Prime General Contractors will be permitted to provide a capability briefing.  If there are any questions or topics you would like for the McConnell team to cover during this Industry Day, please provide that information with your registration.  Please limit your questions to no more than five so we can focus on preparing your most important topics.  All registration information must be submitted by 2:00 pm CST on August 5, 2024.  We look forward to seeing you there!
