The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services:

    • Title: Medical Center Laundry and Linen Processing Services
    • NAICS Code: 812320 - Drycleaning and Laundry Services (except Coin-Operated)
    • Locations for pick up / delivery:
      1. Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center, Spokane WA

    • Tasks:
      1. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision (Plant Manager), management (Contract Manager), supplies, bulk delivery carts, transportation, and facilities necessary to perform contractor owned/contractor operated bulk laundry/linen services. The VA estimates 610,000 lbs. processed per year based on 2025 bulk weight volume processed.
      2. Clean linen delivery and soiled linen pickup shall be between 6:30am and 8:30am Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center.

The Laundry Plant layout/design should incorporate a “design for asepsis” where clean linen does not come into contact with soiled linens nor share the same physical space, thus avoiding cross-contamination or reintroduction of bacteria once processed.
