    Description

    The United States Marshals Service (USMS) is conducting a Sources Sought synopsis for information purposes only. This is not a solicitation announcement. Currently, no solicitation is available. This request for information does not commit the Government to pay any cost incurred in preparation of any submission to this Sources Sought Notice. The anticipated scope of services will be for the management and operation of a Contractor Owned/Contractor-Operated detention facility to provide general infirmary inpatient and outpatient medical services within the confines of a detention facility as required by the USMS for federal prisoners, mandated to the custody of the USMS. The prisoners may come from any USMS District and are housed on an as needed basis for individuals charged with federal offenses and detained while awaiting trial, sentencing or hearings. The facility will be operated 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and 365 days per year basis for federal Prisoners. The Facility shall have the capability to accommodate at least 40 prisoners at a single site. The facility shall be located within United States Marshals Service South Carolina District. Construction of a new facility is not a consideration for this requirement. The period of performance shall be a five-year period of performance.
