    USACE, Pittsburgh District, has a project to replace the metal shake roof at Loyalhanna River Lake. The contractor shall replace the shingle roof, gutters, and downspouts on the Resource Manager?s Office and adjacent Restroom at Loyalhanna River Lake in Saltsburg, Westmoreland County, PA. The Resource Manager?s Office is a wood-framed two-floor building with a singular gable originally constructed in1983. The roof consists of asphalt shingles over 1/2-in plywood sheathing. The restroom building is a wood framed single floor building with a singular gable originally constructed in 1983. The roof consists of asphalt shingles over 1/2-in plywood sheathing. Details of the resource manager?s office construction are shown in Attachment 2 ? Reference Drawings. Representative photos of the resource manager?s office and the restroom roof are shown in Attachment 3 ? Reference Photos. The work shall include removal and disposal of all roofing materials over the entire roof, including all flashing, pipe boots, drip edges, skylights, shingles, and roof felt, and replacement with new roofing underlayment, ice barrier, skylights, and shingles, new roof ridge vent, new pipe boots, and new flashing around all roof penetrations. Gutters and downspouts on all the eaves shall be removed and replaced with new aluminum seamless gutters and downspouts. All material provided in the performance of this contract shall be unused and meet the requirements of the specifications.
