    SOLICITATION The U.S. Embassy Mexico City has a requirement for museum fabrication service for art mount project, in Mexico City, Mexico. The estimated delivery schedule for this service is 60 days. It is expected that once awarded, service shall be completed no later than September 1, 2025. Delivery of items shall be in Mexico City. The selected offeror will be fully responsible for providing the full service as described in the RFQ document that will be published on SAM.gov; including obtaining any local government permits (including import), and licenses if needed, taking into consideration quality standards that will be mentioned in the RFQ document. Offerors will be responsible for presenting an offer that considers elements listed below, and, if a discrepancy is identified, the offeror will be responsible to flag it on in the quotation. The offeror shall provide complete information of the items being quoted in conformance with the requirements stated in the scope of work, such as descriptive literature, manuals, maintenance procedures, technical datasheets, as applicable. Items shall comply with the minimum quality standards of the industry and any other quality and warranty standards that will be stated in the RFQ document. All offerors that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their quotation: The offeror shall provide: Be able to understand written and spoken English and Spanish; Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing; Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work; Have all licenses and permits required by local law; Meet all local insurance requirements; Have the ability to obtain a performance and guarantee bond and a payment bond, or to post adequate performance security, such as irrevocable letters of credit or guarantees issued by a reputable financial institution; Have no adverse criminal record; Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States; Have good experience and past performance records; Identify specialized experience and technical competence required to complete the required service in accordance with this request. Ecofriendly materials, applying LEED certification and ISO 21542 to design standards. Past performance in museum fabrication and museum client portfolio. Complete service as it is described in the RFQ document. All offerors are to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database prior to submitting a quotation pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7 (https://www.sam.gov). The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://sam.gov/content/entity-landing This opportunity allows for electronic responses (email to send proposals and questions is specified in the LTO document and in the SAM publication).
