The NIH-CC requires MIM software licenses and maintenance. This purchase is needed to maintain our current MIM Research products at their latest revision levels and to provide technical support for those products, when necessary. This package provides is an image analysis and visualization tool maintained by RADIS/CC on behalf of NIH.
Justification: MIMsoftware is the vendor of our set of MIM licenses and medical imaging processing application. As such, they are the sole source of capable of maintaining and upgrading our set of MIM Research licenses and application. MIM is in daily use by RAD&IS for critical patient care. Continuity of analysis and clinical utility is vital to patient care and research data integrity. We have been using this software for several years clinical and over 10 years in research projects. This software also provides the ‘console’ capabilities for the Veriton SD400 SPECT/CT scanner in RADIS Nuclear Medicine acquisition modality. Veriton worked exclusively with MiMSoftware to develop those capabilities. There currently are no other official resellers/vendors that we know of.
